The Independence of Pakistan
At the end of the second World War, the British moved out of India. The war had weakened those powerful imperialistic countries, and they did not have the resources to take care of the colonies. The British ruled India more than 200 years, and then it ended. In 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru became India`s first prime minster.
But, before the British left, they did not want the people of India to live peacefully.
During the colonial period, British feared the Muslims, and they tried to win them to their side. As a result, the British established the M.A.O College at Aligarh and supported an all India-Muslim conference . Then the support from the British encourage the Muslim leaders to seek independence. They established the electoral process of the Partition of India
Soon the division between religions emerged. But the Muslims were difficult to accept colonial power and culture. They refused to learn English and they refused to associate with the British. With these Muslim activities, the British lost their confidence in Muslims, and Hinduism became the favor of the British.
Under Britain`s incitement, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was the first to conceive of a separate Muslim homeland. The Hindu revivalists also deepened between the two nations. but their plan to gain independence did not go as they wished. The Muslims also gained more power under the guidance of dynamic leaders like Jinnah. In the end, the Muslims rejected the mission of the cabinet that was proposed in 1942. In August 15, 1947, Pakistan announce independent.
Conquest of Pakistan
In the 17th century, the British arrived in India and set in motion a huge plan to conquer India. The British established a company in India, The Honourable East India Company in 1600. Queen Elizabeth 1 granted a royal charter to a group of English traders to set up this company and the company executive powers.
The first land the company bought in India was Calcutta. There were a lot of resources around Calcutta, such as agriculture and material for industry. The company established their headquarters in Calcutta. Soon they controlled the resources, such as food and metal, and sent them back to Britain. As time went on, the company grew rapidly. Soon they established trading centers in Calcutta, Madras and Bombay.
In1707, the Indian Emperor Aurangzeb, the ruler of Mughal Dynasty, which ruled for 200 years, died. The empire fell into succession crisis.
After all the resources in eastern India were monopolized by the British, the East India Company took advantage of the crisis and the government used the company to establish a British empire in India. As the British monopolized the east, the French`s South India Company took over most of south India, and in Europe, France was at war with the Britain.
In 1757, the first instance of aggression took place, The Battle of Plassey. The French supported Lord Siraj ud-Daulah to resist the British. His army was massive and powerful, and the French company supported him by providing 40 cannons, but in the end, Siraj ud-daulah still lost the war. There were few reasons that caused the failure of the war: the British company bribed the General Mir Jafar who betrayed Siraj, and rain arrived, that caused the French cannons to be useless. In this situation. the British won the war. They made their first step to conquer India.
After the war, the British send a lot of armies to India. They used the name of protecting the kings. But, in reality, they forced the kings to serve them. On the other side of India, British swiped out the French. In 1759, The British defeated a large French garrison at Masulipatam. In 1858, British turned India into a British colony.

India`s Colonial Period
In 1858, the British officially announced that India became a colony of Britain. The India British company returned the political power to queen Victoria. In 1876, India was renamed the Indian Empire.
Before that, the East India British company kept carrying resources, like food and metal, out of India India which caused the famine in India. The India British Company monopolized all the trades. The company forced the local people to work for them with a very low payment. This famine caused the death of 10 million people. Soon the famine expanded to the whole country, and ultimately it killed 40 million people.
In the after 50 years, the British tried to swipe out all of their competitors. The Indian British company named India the land of Company (Company Raj) As a result,on May 10, 1857, local Hindus and Muslims established an army and went against the British. The army swore allegiance to the Mughal Emperor. Soon, middle and northern India joined this war. In the end, the British won the war, but they have[suffered] a lot of death and injuries too.
In 1909, India proposed to establish their own government by appointing the governor's advisory and the establishing the provincial assembly.
